What do you think of New Moon (The Meadow) by Alexandre Desplat?? Don´t you think it´s too Edward Scissorhand/Corpse Bride, too Tim Burton/Johnny Depp if you know what i mean...
I think is a beautiful piece, but for me is more like Phillipe Glass in the Movie The Truman Show and the piece is play when Truman is sleepping (I think the name is “Truman Sleepping” obviously) for me doesn’t sound much like Edward cutting the ice, but is has the meaning.

I completely agree! I thought the exact same thing. Both are beautiful pieces! Here is the one from The Truman Show: link
It does, doesn't it?! When I heard it, I just started to remember Edward doing the ice sculturs (ohhhh now I want to see Edward Scissorhands and I have to go study.... mean brys, really mean:P LOL)
But it does resemble to it:) Still cool, though:)
That's my opinion:)
LOL...
Lots of Love
Ashes:)
I think you have to remember what Bella finds in the meadow...nothing that reminds her of Edward, so it's sadness, then runs into Laurent and the wolves, so it has to be surreal.
i think it's perfect. It's a beautiful song. It has it's highs and lows. It's very haunting and heartbreaking, eerie and a bit ethereal. I love it. And for their meadow, if it's the part where she returns in the middle of the movie to find the meadow dead and empty, i think the tone is absolutely perfect.

Please don´t get me wrong, i think the music is just perfect but as Ashes said it made me remember EdwardScissorhands doing ice scultures! But the music is beatiful ♥
oh no I wasn't. I was just giving my 2 cents on why I liked it. i haven't watched Edward Scissorhands in a while. lol it was on tv but i forgot to record it. lol
I just listened to the entire song and I completely agree, it's very corpse brideish. It's a good song but makes me think of something other then twilight.
I agree, it does remind me of Edward Scissorhands. I think the music is beautiful but parts of it also sound like Ludovico Einaudi's music. The beginning sounds like 'Bella Notte' and other parts sound like 'Giorni Dispari.' Does anyone agree?
