On page 600 of Eclipse, when Jacob says "The clouds I can handle, but I can't fight with an Eclispe."...What does he mean? I kinda got the gist of it, but can someone explain it better to me?

When he says he can't handle and eclipse, he's talking about Edward. Hense the book title. Edward (who represents the moon) eclipses Jake (who is Bella's sun). See?
